GPS's debut album, "Window to the Soul" has been released in Japan, featuring 2 bonus tracks.

HURRICANE STATEMENT REGARDING RE-ISSUES

The following is a statement from Hurricane in relation to the recent news about their albums being potentially re-released: "It has come to the attention of Jay Schellen and Kelly Hansen that some person or persons have been allegedly promoting the release and sale of reissued material by their earlier band, Hurricane.
Kelly contacted Hurricane band mate Jay Schellen and neither have any knowledge of the release, or the websites that are promoting it. They wish to make it known that no Hurricane reissue CDs have been signed by them and no new or "bonus" tracks have ever been recorded for any reissue. Any quotes attributed to Kelly or Jay in connection with any advertising and/or marketing of these releases are totally manufactured. Kelly and Jay are extremely distressed to hear of any alleged abuse of their fans and friends, and although they would love to address this issue personally, legally they must remain limited to this statement. Kelly and Jay are doing everything possible to assist in the cessation of any alleged misuse of their good name and reputation that injures the people they value most, their supporters."

GPS debut album

GPS's debut album, "Window to the Soul" will be released on August 25th in Germany, August 28th in Europe and September 26th in North America on InsideOut Records. Also look for them on tour in Europe in the fall of 2006.

Conspiracy: Press release

The Conspiracy Live DVD is being released March 14 on Purple Pyramid Records. The DVD includes songs from Conspiracy's CD The Unknown as well as the first self titled CD Conspiracy. Also included are "The More We Live" and "Universal Garden" and two songs from Chris Squire's Fish Out Of Water.

There are behind the scenes footage of rehearsals as well as a photo gallery slide show, band personnel pages and animation that brings the cover art to life. Chris Squire, Billy Sherwood, Jay Schellen, return to make up this Live Conspiracy, with guests Michael Sherwood and Scott Walton rounding out the line up. A must have for all YES / ASIA / Conspiracy Fans!

GPS: Press release

[February 24th, 2006]

John Payne, Guthrie Govan, and Jay Schellen of Asia have announced the formation of a new band called GPS. A deal has been signed with InsideOut Records and the band's self-titled debut album will be released on 23rd May in North America and 26th May in Europe. Keyboard duties on the album were handled by Ryo Okumoto from Spock's Beard. The band plans to play select shows during the summer with a full European tour in the fall of 2006.
GPS will be unveiling their new web site (www.musicbyone.com) in the near future.

ASIA News

[February 23rd, 2006]

Asia are planning to play two European festivals this summer -- Sweden Rock Festival on 10th June and Rock of Ages in Germany on 28th July. At this moment, plans are to release "Architect of Time" at some point in 2006. Details will be forthcoming as they are available.

Jay has joined ASIA

Jay has officially joined the group ASIA! After working with the band last year in preproduction for their Silent Nation release, it was evident that a great chemistry was there from the start. "We got along so well both musically and personally from the very beginning". ASIA enter the studio today to begin recording their follow up to 2004's highly successful album, Silent Nation. The album, tentatively called Architect of Time, will be released sometime in the first half of 2006 on InsideOut Records.

Back Against the Wall

Conspiracy LIVE DVD

I am very excited about this DVD project. We filmed a private live show in Ventura shortly before Chris left to begin the YES tour. It features Billy, Chris and myself, plus Scott Walton and Michael Sherwood on keyboards. We really enjoyed ourselves rehearsing and performing live together after all this time. The show features tracks from The Unknown, the first CD and a few surprises. We decided to play Universal Garden and The More We Live, Let Go from YES's catalog, as these were songs co-written by Billy and Chris that have never been performed live! We also are performing Hold Out Your Hand and By My Side from Fish Out Of Water, Chris's first solo album! I really had a blast playing all the tracks, but I must admit, playing Hold Out Your Hand w/ Chris and the band was an amazing moment to capture on film!
